STEPS TO OVERCOME THE TRIALS OF LIFE
Step 2:
Taking God at his word.
In
the first step, you have learned some
benefits and rights you have. In the words
of Jesus Christ. You, know who you are in
Christ. Which gives you the ability to
tap into the power of, the living the word
of God.
It is a great comfort for
all believers to know, that Jesus is the
beginning, and the end, of all things.
He is the Alfa and Omega (Rev. 1:8).
He was at the beginning of all creation
(John 1:2)
Jesus was the word made
flesh, the bible says that he was with God
when all things were created and nothing,
would be made without him (John 1:1-3).
The point I want you to
see is the following. Jesus was the
word that through God and being God himself.
Became flesh (man). The same power
displayed and lived through Jesus exists in
the word of God.
The word of God is a
living power. It lives from
everlasting to everlasting (Hebrew 4:12 and
John 1:1). The Word of God, God
himself, Jesus and The Holy Spirit, in a
common sense are all in one, from past
generations to generations to come.
God has created the world
and all that exists today through his word.
How? In the book of Genesis 1:3 God
said, “Let There Be Light”, and there was
light. What I want you to realize is
that through his voice command he spoke into
life and into existence all things:
Earth, Heaven, Sea and all living creatures
including you and me.
God spoke, commanded, sent
forth his word and all things were done,
thing changed and it all came to pass.
So, the same power used to
create, develop and set in motion the
universe is available to in the Holy
scriptures-The-Bible-The Living Word of God.
As the Book of Hebrews
Chapter 4:12 states, the word of God is
alive-Full of Living Power and just waiting
to execute and accomplish whatever it is
commended to. It is alive to be befit
and give light and salvation for the
righteous and judgment to unbelievers (Det
30:19)
If you choose to use, live
and apply. The Living Word of God, in
your Life, it not only will give you Life.
But also, will work for your benefit
prospering your ways and delivering you from
all snares of life.
The power invested in
the Word of God. God sustains the
world and everything in it by the power of
His Word, can you grasp what that means?
God’s, Word to your life. (Psalm 33:6-8).
The word of God is a lamp for your feet and
if you choose it, to guide you and be what
it is meant to be for you, there is nothing
in this world or in the world to come that
could resist you (Psalm 119:105).
God spoke through the prophet Isaiah that
his word can be compared to the rain and
snow, they come down from Heaven, water the
land and cause the grain to grow, producing
seed for the farmer and bread for the
hungry. Now read this carefully and
receive in your spirit it’s meaning:
“It is the same with my word. I send
it out and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to and it
will prosper everywhere I send “(Isaiah
55:11)Niv.
Brothers and Sisters if
the word of God is a living word, filled
with the power that created the world and
still holds it up, God is telling you and me
that when you speak his word and command it
or send it to do something it will not come
back empty, It will not return void, but it
will accomplish whatever it is sent for.
It will cause you to prosper and to be a
conqueror.
Like the kids in school
say “Do you feel me?” Can you realize
now that the words in your Bible are the
word of our almighty God available to
executed as often as it is commanded?
The time is to seek in
the word of God instructions, information
that will cause you to be victorious in any
area of your life. This power has been
working throughout the ages and it will work
for you too.
Imagine a Trip: You are traveling on a
highway and suddenly you get lost.
What do you do? You seek information,
right? You probably will look at a map
of the area and once you find the
instructions and guidance to your final
destination you are back on the road and
eventually you will reach your goal.
The word of God is the map of life.
You may be on the wrong path, lost, tired
and discouraged by the battles and trials of
life, but now you can change that, through
the word of God. Which is power a
living weapon that will cause you to
overcome any obstacle. Don’t take a
detour or short cuts. Take God at his
word because if he said it, it will be
fulfilled, it will be accomplished.
Do you remember when Jesus warned his
disciples about the signs of the end?
Well, he also said:
“Heaven and earth will disappear, but my
words will remain forever” (Matthew 24:35).
The word of God is so
powerful that it will never pass nor be
shaken. Trust God with all your heart,
and faith. Don’t, doubt what God has
said and declared, instead believe that God
is able to deliver all things he has
promised, spoken and assured. Take God
at his word. Abraham was declared
righteous because he never wavered his
faith. It took sometime but God
brought to pass all promises made to Abraham
(Romans 4:19-22). He took God at his
word and so shall you. Next Step:
You will learn to apply God’s word in the
areas of your life.
