-HOW TO OVERCOME
CIRCUMSTANCES AND TRIALS-
FIRST STEP-YOUR ‘ID’ IN
CHRIST-VICTORY IT’S YOURS!
Anyone at some
point in life may face trial’s, struggles and
circumstances that may afflict so intensive, that
you may even consider the idea of giving up.
But here I have
good news for you. If you are a believer in Christ
you become a heir of all things conquered and
accomplished by Jesus at the cross.
(Galatians 4:7)
At the cross
Jesus has paid the price for your sins, and I mean
all kind of sins; don’t feel sorry or afraid to
receive what Christ did for you. Some people
believe their sinful acts and life or the evil deed
is to great to be forgiven that is wrong. The word
of God says that does not matter. How bad are your
sins, adultery, murder, sexual sins you name it
….Jesus got it covered, he is able, and wants to
forgive you, if you only confess. (Isaiah 1:18).
God has the pleasure to forgive and forget you’re
past record of sins and he does not keep record of
it. (Isaiah 43:25)(Psalm 103:12).
Jesus not only
set you free from sin, he died on the cross and took
over himself, all the curse that was upon mankind.
He has borne you’re grief’s (Diseases, sickness) and
carried your sorrows. He got away with all plagues
caused by the slavery of sin. (Isaiah 53:5). Take
advantage of what he has done for you.
Are you going
through a season of worries, doubts, or negative
thoughts? You may still reason with your past, with
a feeling that you are not worth, of what Christ has
done for you.
I want you to
know what the word of God says; since you came to
Christ you were born again (spiritually) with your
sins forgiven and your heart and mind set on God,
the old life of yours is gone and even though the
enemy tries to whisper that you did not change, you
must believe on what the word of God says and it
says that you are a new creature and all things are
new, the old you, is gone (2 Cor 5:17).
Now is time to
stand up, shake off the dust and learn from the word
of God, who you are in Christ. This is the first
step to overcome any issue of your life.
Regardless if
you are a good person, forgiven and saved through
Christ, you are a strong candidate to be beaten up
by the enemy if you don’t know your ID in Christ and
where you should stand when the flood (enemy, trial,
any problem) comes.
Even though you are a believer you are not immune to
troubles and trials, but if they come you must know
your way out, you must get to the other side of the
storm with victory.
If you are
facing any adversity or trials of any kind, know
that God promises to deliver you from “all” of them.
(Psalm 34:9). If you trust, he will bring you out
all right.
WHO AM I IN CHRIST?
Ephesians 2:1 - 10 (NIV)
1As
for you, you were dead in your transgressions and
sins,
2in
which you used to live when you followed the ways of
this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the
air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are
disobedient.
3All
of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying
the cravings of our sinful nature£
and following its desires and thoughts. Like the
rest, we were by nature objects of wrath.
4But
because of his great love for us, God, who is rich
in mercy,
5made
us alive with Christ even when we were dead in
transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
6And
God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him
in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
7in
order that in the coming ages he might show the
incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his
kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
8For
it is by grace you have been saved, through
faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift
of God—
9not
by works, so that no one can boast.
10For
we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to
do good works, which God prepared in advance for us
to do.
In this
scripture you realize the Goodness of our God. We
all were dead in our old life style living under the
bondage of Satan. God is a merciful God and he
saved you. He delivered you from the dominion of
Satan the prince of darkness. Satan rules over the
hearts of those who refuse to obey God, but you are
free from sin, death and Satan’s slavery.
The wage, of
the consequences of sin are death (Romans 6:23).
But through Christ you have eternal life even if you
die at this present age. (John 11:25-26)
- John 1:12
Says that you are a child of God.
- John
11:27-29 Says that your eternal life is
guaranteed, besides it tells you that no one can
take you away from God’s care. How comfortable
is to know that you have an almighty God caring
for you.
- John 16:7,
13-15 Says that God, father through Jesus has
sent the Holy Spirit to help, assist, to comfort
you. You are not alone even when you don’t see
anyone else with you. The Holy Spirit of God
dwells in you since you became Christian. Don’t
take it lightly. Did you understand what I just
told you? Let me re-peat: The Holy Spirit of
God the 3rd person of the trinity
dwells, lives, abides in you, your body is the
Temple of the Holy Spirit, is that power or
what? (Cor 3:16)
-
2 Cor 5:17-20 Says that you are a
new creature in Christ and you are Christ’s
ambassador. That means you have and you are
authority on earth. Jesus gave you an important
task. To re-present him on earth. How?
Through the power of His Holy Spirit and His
Name (John 15:7)(John 16:23-24).
Reading the New
Testament you will find out how many blessings and
power is available to you, in Jesus. Reach out and
inherit what belongs to you.
What can you do
through Jesus? God has enabled you to do so many
things in this life through his Son Jesus that you
may not even understand or know.
If you believe
in what Jesus said and what is said in the word of
God, here follow some of these authorities given and
made available to you.
- Mark 16:
18-18 Jesus gave authority to the disciples over
demons, sickness and issues of life caused by
the forces of this world. Notice that he
commissioned the disciples to do all these
things in his name, and he (Jesus) has
guaranteed that these would be the signs
following those who believes in him.
So, if the word of God is correct
this power is available to you, you have authority
to perform God’s will to heal the sick and set the
captive free. You don’t have to fear the enemy, but
cast him out.
